Golden Standards: Mary Bohlman Wins 2026 Golden Apple Award

We are thrilled to announce that Mary Bohlman has been named the recipient of this year’s prestigious Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Education!

Ms. Bohlman was selected for this honor because of her unwavering dedication and passion and the profound impact she makes on her students, colleagues, and the entire Stevens Point community. This year’s recognition carries a special sentiment, as she was nominated for the award by one of her own students, Ackai, from Madison Elementary.

The award was officially presented during the Portage County Business Council’s Excellence in Education breakfast.

The excellence at Madison is vast. We are also incredibly proud to celebrate Kelly Caufield, Erin Simons, and Molly Williams, three additional Madison teachers who were nominated for the award. Having four Madison teachers recognized is a proud testament to the culture of excellence and dedication our entire staff brings to school every day!
